Rusty Nowlin

Rusty has been active in the Ventura County recovery community for over 22 years. He has held volunteer positions with increasing responsibility. His passion for the sober living community is rooted in living in and operating a sober house that became an integral part of his first 14 years in recovery. This experience encouraged Rusty and his wife April to join the Sober Living Coalition and open a sober living home in 2018. After a year as the Coalition Treasurer, Rusty was elected to serve as the chair. As the Sober Living Coalition of Ventura County Chair, Rusty is committed to ensuring the coalition homes are held to the Sober Living Network standards, to serve our residents, recovery community, owners and Ventura County.
